Optima Synchro Triumphs at 2017 Synchro America Open

EAST MEADOW, NY – Optima Synchro competed at the 2017 Synchro America Open, part of the inaugural FINA Synchronized Swimming World Series, winning gold in the senior highlight final and silver in the free combo. Caitlin Klauer was the top US swimmer in the solo final, placing 4th in a competitive field represented by international Olympic athletes.

Optima Synchro was represented by Nicole Carzo, Aleah Davidsen, Kimberly Feng, Sydney Ho, Caitlin Klauer, Emily Ma, Katie MacDonald, Polina Malinovskaya, Rebecca Page, Julia Paradis, Francesca Sajedi, and Melissa Zhang.

“This was an exclusive opportunity to compete in an international meet represented by elite swimmers from 15 countries,” said head coach Svetlana Malinovskaya.
