NORTON, MA – Optima Synchro kicked off the season with a terrific showing at the New England Figure Invitational hosted at Wheaton College.
Novice swimmers Nadia Lee and Kaya Mangani placed 1st and 2nd in the 8 & Under category. Riya Patel placed 4th in the 9-10 category.
Intermediate swimmers Xavia Banigan, Noelle Lee, Emma Diamantis, and Natalie Taylor swept the top four places.
Bonnie Li won the 12 & Under Age Group, and Xavia Banigan placed 7th.
Optima claimed 1st, 3rd, and 6th place finishes in the 13-15 Age Group by Julia Paradis, Frida Vazquez-Gomez, and Aisling Stack, respectively.
Also, 16-19 Age Group swimmers Aleah Davidsen, Riley Spring, Gabriella Sajedi, and Annaliese Moore each scored over 60 points in their Junior Elements.
Many of these swimmers learned about synchronized swimming by joining Optima Synchro on a Synchro Saturday. Attend the next one on December 16 at Haverhill High School. Register here today
