The East Zone Youth and Senior Championships concluded in New Canaan CT on March 3rd 2024, highlighting great performances by our Optima 13-15 age group swimmers. Despite this being their first year of competing in Youth category, our 13-15 swimmers excelled under pressure, qualifying for Nationals in all events they entered.
In the team routine, our Abrielle Huang, Jiayi Han, Sophia Li, Olivia Bao and Peiwen Chu demonstrated their skills and power of their spirit securing a commendable No. 6 ranking and qualifying for the National Championship that will take place in Houston, TX this April. Moreover, Peiwen Chu achieved an impressive No. 4 ranking in the solo competition, earning a coveted spot in the National Championship. Additionally, Peiwen proudly attained a No. 7 ranking in the figure competition and qualified for East Zone All-star Team!
